There are a few good and caring cops, DYS workers, CPS workers, Child Advocates, Juvenile Court workers and DSS workers, but they seem to get lost amongst all of the bad ones.
The good ones are the people who have to sit quietly for fear of being singled, losing their jobs or being bullied.
They can't speak out.
They are essentially victims too.
The good ones should be recognized for doing their jobs correctly and still being able to do them even after they see how corrupt things are.
The good ones keep forging ahead trying to do what's right and I commend them.
Those are the good ones, the ones who need recognition for actually trying to do what's best and right.
Those are the disillusioned people who believe they are going to help people, help communities and most importantly help families.
We need the good ones.
We need more good ones.

But, these books are not about the good ones, they are about the 'bad' ones.
The good ones try to do things right, correctly and within the law.
These books are my attempt to try to shed light on the bad workers who have the power and authority to make decisions that affect the public and entire families.
They have the power to make life changing and altering decisions which affect us all.
They abuse this power over and over again.

Things need to change.
Police departments, child service agencies, DYS, courts..all of it needs to be picked apart with a fine tooth comb.
Get rid of the 'bad' ones, no matter how long they've been there.
The public does not need these corrupt workers.
